This course focuses on the genesis of equal employment opportunity laws, including Title VII, ADEA, ADA, ADAAA, and others. The development and evaluation of human resource policies and procedures for compliance and effectiveness, the philosophy of affirmative action and diversity programs, and the assessment of legal issues affecting employee relations will be discussed, along with employer's rights and obligations.

This course addresses topics vital to sound human resource planning and development, such as identifying human resource needs, and establishing activities/programs that strategically align with the organization's goals and objectives.
