The Fred Factor Mindset - Elevating Service and Culture in Dietary Services
This course is a guided book-study and professional reflection based on The Fred Factor by Mark Sanborn. It focuses on leadership, service excellence, personal accountability, communication, and relationship-building within foodservice and healthcare environments. Purchasing the book from your retailer of choice is a mandatory component of this course and not included in the fee paid to UND.
By the end of the course, students will be able to describe the four principles of The Fred Factor and how they can improve service excellence in foodservice; recognize leadership skills and behaviors that empower dietary team members; identify opportunities to add value to residents, patients, and co-workers; apply service excellence principles within their dietary departments; and complete a personal assessment and identify one action goal.
- Students will have access to this online course for up to six (6) months.
- Upon completion of the course, you will be able to print documentation of completion for 10 hours of General CE.
