T&L 2900: VIR: Closing Gaps with Flipped Learning

Pandemic teaching and learning has created extreme and inconsistent gaps in learning for students of all ages. Flipped learning is a dynamic approach that is used to empower learners through the fostering of an individualized and customized learning space. It allows teachers to redefine their instruction while giving students the autonomy to move at their own pace, revisit important material, and achieve mastery. This innovative course will explore the concept and practical application of flipped learning and provide an overview of various programs and applications used in the creation process. Participants will be guided through the production of their own flipped lessons while learning how to incorporate elements of interactivity, assessment, data collection and feedback.
