T&L 2900: VIR: Writing = Thinking: Strategies for All Content Areas

The act of thinking is invisible, which makes it difficult to fully understand the learning that is taking place in our students. As educators, it is our job to ensure that the invisible thinking turns into visible products. In this online course, taught by a certified Google for Education Trainer, teachers will learn writing strategies that can be utilized in all content areas from 3rd through 12th grade. Participants will be introduced to resources and digital tools that promote writing to learn, brainstorming, questioning, vocabulary development, creative expression, and more, To be successful in this course, participants will need a Mac, PC, or Chromebook (iPads and Phones are not recommended for this course). Participants meet virtually via online communities to discuss and share lessons and strategies.
