T&L 2900: NDAEA Artist Series Vol. 1

This self paced 1 credit graduate level professional development course through UND will take teachers on an Educational Artist Series. This course includes instructional videos, reflection & project. Artist Series Volume One features three artists discussing the topics of illustration & literacy, equity & inclusion, and care for ourselves. Artist Nancy Carlson guides participants through character design and development, teaching tips and tricks from her career as a celebrated author and illustrator. Artist Libya Doman assists educators in thinking about inclusivity in the classroom and shares thoughtful and effective strategies for having tough conversations with students, parents, and administrators.  Artist Nichole Rae helps participants reflect on their self care practices and offers practical exercises to grow them. 

To receive the course registration link you must email course instructor Jamie Worden at jlworden1@gmail.com. A NDAEA fee invoice of $25 NDAEA Members or $50 NDAEA Non-Members will be sent. Once paid, you will be provided with the Coupon Code in order to registration for your credits.

Cancellation Policy

If UND receives the Course Withdrawal Form 7 or more calendar days before the learning event start date, the fee paid to UND Professional Development for Educators minus a $35 processing fee will be refunded. If the fee paid to UND is less than $100 the processing fee will be waived. NO REFUNDS are available if a withdrawal notification is received 6 or less calendar days before the learning event start date.
