DESCRIPTION:Event Description:\n\nConstruction Contractors Training Program (CCB) \n\nThe Oregon Construction Contractors Board&nbsp;(CCB) Pre-licensing Training course provides the minimum 16 hours of education/training required by the Oregon CCB for license application. The course covers key topics included in the <i style="">NASCLA Contractors Guide to Business, Law and Project Management, 2nd edition </i>(Oregon).&nbsp;<div><br></div><div><b>Registration for this class includes:</b></div><div><ul><li>Two full days of class instruction taught in-person by local instructor</li><li><span style="background-color: rgb(247, 254, 46);">A copy of the NASCLA Guide to keep for test and future reference. ($78+ value).</span></li><li>Downtown Roseburg parking permit to be used during class hours.</li></ul></div><div><b>CCB Examination Process</b></div><div>The exam is scheduled by appointment with PSI Exams after completing the class. PSI Exams is the Oregon CCB-approved examination service.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><u>Exam Details</u></div><div><ul><li>80 questions</li><li>180 minutes (3 Hours) time limit</li><li>Passing score is 70% or higher</li><li>Test taken online using ZOOM following completion of training course</li><li>English or Spanish exams available</li><li>"Open Book" test using <i>NASCLA Guide</i></li><li>Exam Fee is&nbsp;<b>$60</b> paid separately and directly to PSI by student</li></ul></div><div><i>&nbsp;(Instructions for how to register with PSI to take the exam will be provided during class.)</i></div><div><br></div><div>The exam may be taken at your home or office. Should you not have access to sufficient technology resources (i.e.: computer and reliable internet service), you may contact the SBDC office to arrange for use of SBDC resources to take the exam.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><b>Requirements for Class and Exam Registration</b>&nbsp;</div><div><div>All course and exam participants must provide a copy of any <u>one</u> of the following government-issued photo ID:</div><div><ul><li>Driver's License</li><li>DMV Identification Card</li><li>Green Card</li><li>Military ID</li><li>US Passport</li></ul></div><div>No other identification will be accepted. Information will be electronically transferred to the Oregon Construction Contractors Board and will be again requested by PSI during your exam appointment.</div></div><div><br></div><div><b>CCB License Application Process</b></div><div>Upon passing the exam, students receive a certificate from PSI documenting successful completion. The certificate can then be submitted with your license application to the Oregon CCB. Contractor license applicants must obtain a CCB license <u>within two years</u> of passing the Oregon pre-license exam.
