Charlotte  Keniston
Biography: Charlotte Keniston is the Associate Director of the Shriver Peaceworker Fellows program and is active in both the UMBC and International Digital Storytelling communities. She has facilitated dozens of digital storytelling workshops for community groups and for university students, faculty, and staff. She holds an MFA from UMBC in Intermedia and Digital Art focused on community-centered art practice. Prior to returning to UMBC to work with the Peacworker program, Charlotte was an Open Society Institute Baltimore Community Fellow and ran community food programs in Southwest Baltimore. She has taught classes in Food Systems, Photography, and Public Art at UMBC, and is a doctoral student in the program of Language, Literacy, and Culture, studying participatory visual research methods and social change.
