TECH & ENTREPRENEURSHIP: The world is constantly changing, especially in the midst of a pandemic, yet those influencing it the most are tech innovators of the world. Each day, students will be exposed to the world of entrepreneurship, meet real innovators who have created businesses, and participate in a hands on lessons where they develop a wearable tech product, business plan, and report their learnings. A class kit will be mailed to assist students with developing a prototype that will be shared at the end of the week. Students will participate in a week long learning experience virtually as a large class with an added benefit of a small cohort for enhanced learning at scheduled times.

Bioterrorism 2020 Simulation: The year is 2020 and you have been exposed to a bio agent in a bioterrorist attack. The agent can cause widespread sickness and possibly death, which results in creating immense panic and unimaginable fear. As a result, society has been disrupted in a short period of time.The SEA virtual, one-week-long virtual summer program invites HS students to examinethe potential threats of bioterrorism, the agents that could be exploited, andthe national law enforcement and public health agencies involved in preparedness and mitigation. Students will work in teams to solve one aspect of the real-world problem of bioterrorism and showcase their final group project with a Virtual Project Presentation to which friends, family, peers, and instructors are invited. This hands-on course brings in industry experts from the field of bioterrorism and creates a fun learning platform... (and great dinner conversation each night!)

Advanced Cybersecurity students will have a command of web application security, exploitation, and cryptography.
