DATA SCIENCE AND THE POWER OF STATISTICS: As we move into the twenty-first century, the need for workers with statistics and data science experience is rapidly growing. Develop the ability to mine, manipulate and visualize data. Learn how to extract data from websites such as Wikipedia, GitHub and other data science websites.

Have fun learning to use R, the premier statistical programming language used in many industries such as finance, healthcare, and social media. Learn different ways of data management within R using top tier techniques.

Explore 3 high interest, youth centric, data sets to answer any number of questions. Who is the greatest basketball player of all time? How many gamers are there in the US and what are the most popular games? What impacts do social media have on culture?
