ETHICS IN SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
This course introduces students to the social impacts of software in the context of real-world software development and management. The course covers aspects of privacy, bias, regulations, intellectual property as it applies to software engineering and to all phases of the software development lifecycle. This course will be taught by a law practitioner with experiences in privacy laws.

This course is not limited to UMBC students and is open to the general public. This course is offered in our Live Online Synchronous format. All lectures will be recorded to accommodate international students and professionals with challenging schedules.
