Course Detail: MECE103 - MECHANICAL ENGINEERING: THE MAGIC OF FLUIDS (High school) IN-PERSON

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING: THE MAGIC OF FLUIDS: The Magic of Fluids is a unique one-week academic summer program on fluid mechanics for junior and senior high school students who have a thirst for knowledge and love to learn by doing. Not only will you be exposed to state-of-the-art research and facilities in the Computational Mechanics Laboratory, but you will also learn foundational science of fluid mechanics, and gain hands-on experience with computational and experimental fluid dynamics.
 
By the end of the week, students will understand how fluid science and technology is being used for the betterment of humankind on a variety of platforms and applications. This workshop will broaden understanding, spark new interest in STEM fields and equip you with critical skills for success in your future studies. 

Students should have a fundamental knowledge of calculus and physics.

"LUNCH: Students staying for full day or for both morning and afternoon sessions can bring or buy their lunch. All students will eat lunch on Campus in The Commons, a small food court.
