Linux Fundamentals
Develop the skills to work in the Linux environment. Learn how to manage files and directories, utilize the vi editor, work with Linux security mechanisms to protect files and programs, work with the Linux shell to control the flow and processing of data through pipelines, design and write shell programs of moderate complexity, and manage multiple concurrent processes in order to achieve higher utilization of Linux. Gain a good working knowledge of Linux, from both a graphical and command line perspective, to easily navigate through any of the major Linux distributions. This course explains and teaches all the important command-line tools and utilities, using very easy to understand, real-world examples. Beginners will develop a solid foundation while advanced users discover patterns and fill in gaps in their knowledge.
