Biography: Jason Isaacs is an Education Specialist in the Federal Programs Section at the Alabama State Department of Education. He began his career in Gwinnett County, Georgia as a middle school teacher in a Title I school. He went on to serve in several leadership positions within the local school before moving to the Federal and Special Programs Department at the district office. In each of these roles, Jason has seen firsthand the impact of federal funding on improving student achievement. He earned his Bachelor of Education degree in Middle Grades Education from Georgia Southern University and his Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. Jason currently supports Alabama school districts as they work to enrich teaching and learning through the use of federal funding.
