Wednesday, March 31, 2021, Criminal Justice Classroom (427)
Learn basic handcuffing philosophies and techniques used by law enforcement personnel, such as speed cuffing and partner cuffing/restraint methods typically used in felony take-down situations. You will be exposed to multiple handcuff application and removal techniques. Liability and relevant case law will also be covered. CLEET approved 4-hours CE.
Wednesday, May 12, 2021, Criminal Justice Classroom (427)
During the shotgun course, you will learn the six fundamentals of shooting, cruiser ready, and combat loading. You will be required to pass all practicum scenarios. 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun is required. You will be required to supply 35 Rounds 00 (Buck), 50 Rounds (Bird) Shot, and required PPE. Class is held at TCSO Range.
