Practice lifesaving skills for the adult, child, and infant using American Red Cross guidelines. Learn to use an AED and relieve choking. You must complete 2.5-hours of online theory in advance of the class lab date. Therefore, it is recommended that you enroll a week before the scheduled lab date. Designed to provide students with the requirements needed for certification that complies with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120, EPA CFR 40.311, and RCRA requirements for the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response training. Instruction will include recognizing potential hazards associated with chemical spill responses.
