Course Detail: ECE-4147 - Building Relationships Culture, Bias, & Trauma

Part three of a three-class series discusses the impact of trauma and toxic stress and how it affects the context of our relationships with others and our environment. Examine adverse childhood experiences and how these experiences may affect brain development and neural network connections. Review the F.A.N. Framework to focus on working with young children and families and discover how to build strengths and protective factors in those families to help mitigate the effects that trauma can have on development. Must enroll in all three classes at once; select Infant Mental Health Series class to make your payment and then enroll in additional 3 classes.
