Course Detail: INDT-6833 - Advanced Mobility-Industrial Maintenance 248 Hour Curriculum
The Autonomous Mobility Course is an engaging, short-term training opportunity designed for high school seniors and adult learners interested in careers in automation and autonomous systems. This future-focused program provides hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, including autonomous drones, robotics, and industrial automation.Students gain practical skills through a comprehensive curriculum that includes Basic Hydraulics, Basic Pneumatics, AC/DC Electrical Systems, Electric Relay Control & Troubleshooting, Motor Controls 1 and 2, an Introduction to PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and an Introduction to Laser Shaft Alignment and Vibration Control. In addition, students complete a 10-hour General Industry OSHA Certification course and receive hands-on training in Python programming.The program is delivered in two phases and follows the Tulsa Tech school calendar:?Phase 1: A foundational technical segment (248 hours) that builds core competencies.?Phase 2: An advanced 160-hour segment focused on autonomous machine operation and complex PLC applications, available exclusively to high school students.To receive a certificate of completion, students must attend and complete all required hours of the program.
