This Dialysis Technician Program provides students with the knowledge needed to perform as a dialysis technician. This program will review kidney dialysis machines, preparing dialyzer reprocessing and delivery systems, and review equipment maintainance.

The HIT for IT Support Specialist Program prepares students to understand and use electronic records in a medical practice. This course is designed to fully prepare students to sit for and pass the CompTIA Network+ Certification exam. Students gain skills necessary to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, install, operate, and configure basic network infrastructure, describe networking technologies, understand basic design principles, adhere to wiring standards, & use of testing tools.
The Home Health Aide Program emphasizes providing personal care in a client's home, communications, working with ill persons, basic human needs, eldercare, nutrition, special diets, and home management. Many different types of individuals require assistance in daily tasks, assistance with minor medical tasks, and companionship because they are ill, elderly, or disabled in some way, may be of any age, and live at home or in a home-like residential facility.
Massage Therapy & Holistic Healing Professional Program provides an overview of the theoretical principles for common massage therapy systems and manual techniques. Introduces both the theoretical basis, demonstration of fundamental manual techniques in the traditional discipline of Western & Myofascial Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, & Reflexology. Overviews anatomy, physiology, & pathology. Diagnostic procedures, & possible treatments & changes in the body throughout the human lifespan.
This program covers information on the medical assisting profession, interpersonal skills, medical ethics and law, medical terminology, basics of insurance billing and coding, telephone techniques, scheduling appointments, medical records management and management of practice finances. A great course for physicians medical office professionals!
A medical billing and coding specialist obtains reimbursement for claims using diagnostic codes to submit claims to insurance companies and bill patients.

This 300 hour certification course will teach the students the new code changes that have occurred recently. During lab day, students will perform simulated tasks as if they were working at a hospital. Instructor will review weekly lessons and guide them thru simulation. Reference books will be available in the classroom in preparation for the Certification Exams.

Assist individuals requiring assistance in daily tasks, minor medical tasks & companionship, as they are ill, elderly, or disabled. Essential services:healthcare mgmt, assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, recreational activities, security & transportation.
A pharmacy technician is assists pharmacists in supplying, assembling, and distributing medications.

This 300 hour Certification program will prepare students to work in a Pharmacy environment. Additionally, terminology will be emphasized and taught to students. Students will meet once a week on lab days with their instructor and review the weekly lessons.

Instructor will prepare students by reviewing procedures/safety precautions and other material needed for their externship.

The Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares students to collect blood specimens from clients for the purpose of laboratory analysis. Students will become familiar with all aspects of blood collection and will review the skills needed to perform venipunctures safely. Includes terminology, blood collection procedures, order of draw and other engaging topics. Program also includes an optional clinical externship at a local healthcare provider!
This course provides a well-rounded educational experience preparing students to assist physicians in multiple administrative areas of the medical office. Instruction includes medical terminology, interpersonal skills, medical records management, implementation and management of electronic health information, medical ethics and law, basics of insurance billing and coding and maintaining the legal accreditation and regulatory requirements of the electronic health record.
The Psychology Program course takes students through the basic concepts, theories, research methods, and contributions to the understanding of human behavior taking students through the various complexities of human development, motivations, feelings & behavior.
The Spa Professional Program provides an overview of the theoretical principles for common massage therapy systems and manual techniques. Prepares students with fundamental knowledge about sanitation, & creating an appropriate environment to perform massage therapy services with ethical and professional boundaries. Students will also have the knowledge and tools for basic entrepreneurship, including marketing for massage therapy. Emphasizes utmost professionalism & ethical behavior.
A veterinary assistant works directly with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to care for sick and injured animals, surgical preparations, and laboratory procedures.

This 150 hour Certification Course will train and expose students to veterinary practices. Instructor will review proper safety procedures during lab days. "Live" portion will meet Tuesday evenings. Readings and lectures will be done online during the week.

"The Wills, Trusts & Estates Specialist Program explores the ins & outs of the legal & ethical requirements necessary to develop & administer an estate plan. Introduced to highly-specialized legal vocabulary pertaining to these particular legal fields, relevant substantive & procedural law that govern wills, trusts and estates. Students will produce an estate planning and estate administration portfolio of relevant documents that thoroughly covers the wills, trusts, and estates legal specialty.
