Come see what you can invent or reinvent with your natural ability and some natural materials-woods! You will have the opportunity to make something that many of us have grown up with sitting on a mantle, a bookshelf in our family's den or grandparent's home. This is an opportunity to bring back a few of those memories with a project of your own, a "Mantle Clock." During this project, we will also explore your abilities with wood burning. In this class we will use both hand tools as well as some machines to accomplish tasks that are used in the process of making a wood project. Instructor Mark Davis, Hemlock Middle School woodshop teacher, has had experiences in construction and home design as well as computer-aided drafting. Bring your memories and hopefully we can make some new ones. All materials are provided
