Professor Christina De Clerck-Szilagyi will lead viewing and discussion of episodes of Star Trek in which the Roddenberry Ideal of a positive and humanist future was used to comment on the society of the era. Topics this session will include disease and illness in the Star Trek world. We'll be watching and discussing DS9's "Life Support," Voyager's "Critical Care," Voyager's "The Phage," and Enterprise's "Stigma."
