Since the end of his second term in January 1989, Ronald Reagan's place as one of our most significant presidents has solidified. Why? What were his accomplishments? What did he not achieve? Consideration will be given to the beliefs, influences, and experiences that formed him and explain the direction of his administration. We'll begin with the early years, Hollywood, and pre-presidential political activity. From here, we'll move on to the election of 1980, Reagan's domestic and foreign policies, and national security. We'll complete the course with his last years and legacy.
