Professor Jason Szilagyi will give an overview on the Allied and Axis air campaigns and the forces who carried them out. He will discuss the Axis countries targeting of both strategic and civilian targets and the Allied responses. The class will end with a discussion of how the war is perceived in history and popular culture by countries on both sides.
