Serious painters need not apply! This two-day workshop is just for the light of heart. Follow along with techniques and then paint them in a fun and expressive way using a variety of mediums to create a unique piece of art. Participants may use watercolor, gouache, watercolor pencil/crayons, Inktense pencils, pastels and/or oil pastels in the process. Collage materials may also be included if desired. Participants are asked to bring 3-5 small items that reflect who they are that could be incorporated into their self-portrait. Please be sure to download the complete supply list for the workshop. Stacie Rose is a local watercolor artist and president of the Saginaw Area Watermedia Artists. She has an associate's degree in applied arts.
