Lines, shapes and color, oh my! Create your own totally unique abstract painting using easy to follow step-by step instructions. No experience required! Instructor Stacie Rose will guide you through the steps to create initial drawings and discuss design techniques to express yourself in a new and expressive way using a variety of mediums and visual texture to create a unique piece of art. Participants may use watercolor, gouache, watercolor pencil/crayons, Inktense pencils, pastels and/or oil pastels in the process. Collage materials may also be included if desired. The only requirement is a child-like attitude and an enjoyment of painting! Please download the complete supply list for the workshop. Stacie Rose is a local watercolor artist and president of the Saginaw Area Watermedia Artists. She has an associate's degree in applied arts.
