Since the start of time, people from all cultures have woven plant materials together to make baskets for gathering and transporting goods. Now OLLI participants can learn the timeless craft of basket weaving themselves and create their own utilitarian art. The September basket is a jelly jar basket measuring 5 inches across by 4.5 inches high with a wire and wood handle. It holds a pint-sized jar. The October basket is the scarecrow basket measuring 8 by 12 inches. Supply fee of $25 per person for the September session and $30 per person for the October session to be paid to the instructor in class - cash or check only.
