Participants will read Loving Frank, a novel by Nancy Horan that tells the story of Mamah Borthwick and her illicit love affair with Frank Lloyd Wright amidst the public shame they experienced in early 20th Century America. The novel blends together both fact and fiction, and draws upon Horan's years of research, weaving little-known facts into a compelling narrative, vividly portraying the conflicts and struggles of a woman forced to choose between the roles of mother, wife, lover and intellectual. You may join a cook club discussion with Karen Howell on Tuesday, August 16 from 3:30 to 5 pm. There will be an additional cost of $20 for this option.
