Course Detail: 24MACKINAC - 24 LIVE AT SVSU Forgotten Features of Mackinac Island - Presented by Kyle Bagnall

Located between Michigan's two peninsulas, Mackinac Island is one of our state's most famous tourist destinations. In this presentation, Kyle Bagnall, Park Naturalist for Mackinac State Historic Parks, will highlight some island attractions which have been lost to time and nearly forgotten. Through rich descriptions, historic illustrations, maps, and photographs, you'll be invited to visit places such as Deer Park, Wishing Spring, Twin Sister Rocks, and the Musical Well of Mackinac Island. We'll rediscover forgotten caves, climb the Giant's Stairway, and peer through Fairy Arch, once described as "one of the most beautiful specimens of nature's handiwork." This presentation shines new light on a familiar destination and will leave you wondering what new adventures await on your next trip to Mackinac Island!
