This course is the third in a series of eight courses and covers the topics of Working on Distribution Poles, Care and Testing of Tools and Equipment, Overhead Distribution Systems, Distribution Line Safety, System Protection and Monitoring, Safe Bucket Truck Operations, Multimeter Operation and Use, Bucket Truck Rescue, Safety in Overhead Line Maintenance.\n\nEvent Schedule:\n\nThis is a Hybrid Course with online and in-person lab work. Canvas access is available August 25, 2026, through December 10, 2026. Lab work will be 6pm to 9pm on Mondays beginning August 31, 2026, through December 7, 2026, at either SLCC Miller Pole Yard, MCPC-123, or the St. George Power Training Yard. Please watch for communication in Canvas, from your employer, and from instructors for weekly specifics.
