DESCRIPTION:Event Description:\n\nLineworker 2\n\nThis course is the second in a four-course sequence in the Lineworker Pre-Apprenticeship Program that will build upon the fundamental core knowledge gained in the first half of the program. In this course, students will be taught the practical and hands-on skills needed as a Lineworker Apprentice covering topics such as advanced rigging, hydraulic derricks, and pole framing and guying.\n\nEvent Schedule:\n\nThis is the 2nd Lineworker lab course. This is a Hybrid Course with online and in-person lab work. Canvas access is available April 17, 2026, through June 19, 2026. Lab work will be 7am to 5:30pm on Fridays beginning April 24, 2026, through June 19, 2026, at either SLCC Miller Pole Yard, MCPC-123, or pre-determined industry partner locations.
