New elementary teachers will acquire mathematics instructional skills to promote reasoning and problem solving, assess student progress, and design differentiated instruction and support students in their mathematical learning journey. Teachers will apply reflective practices that cultivate a mindset that every individual can engage in sophisticated mathematical thinking. By the end of this course, participants will be prepared to create inclusive, engaging, and effective mathematics learning environments that promote the success of all students.\n\nEvent Schedule:\n\nCourse is Hybrid (Online + Webinar). The webinar meetings are every Thursday from 09/10/2026 to 10/22/2026, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. You will have until October 28th, 2026 to complete your course work.
