DESCRIPTION:Event Description:\n\nInstructor Institute Online\n\nThis is the online portion to go along with four live training sessions for the Instructor Training Institute, intended for Salt Lake Technical (SLTech) and Workforce Training & Education (WTE) instructors. Participants will work with a mentor instructor to follow up on their application of teaching principles and strategies learned in the live sessions. In addition, participants will engage with online training to supplement in-person instructions on topics like work-based learning, equity and inclusion, Canvas as a teaching tool, and digital accessibility.\n\nEvent Schedule:\n\nThis session is an online, asynchronous course that will take 8 hours total to complete. To receive the micro credential, you must attend 4 hours of coaching office hours that are offered by Emily Huillet. She will create small coaching cohorts that will meet 4 times over the course of 2 months after the in person sessions have concluded.
