Course Detail: WTMD950 - Introduction to Quality Control ONLINE

Course Description: This 8-week course is structured as a self-paced, fully online competency-based learning course. Students may move through the material at their own pace within the parameters of the Workforce Training and Education Department. As a result of this training students will be able to describe the key relationships and concepts used by quality control; explain routine data analysis technique; differentiate between statistical terms and select an appropriate statistical sampling level; explain calibration concepts and standards and their role in inspection, validation, control and traceability; and describe how to inspect various types of medical devices using specifications, drawings, and sample requirements.
