DESCRIPTION:Event Description:\n\nFragrance Creation Workshop \n\nAre you an entrepreneur or fragrance industry professional? Are you seeking to become one? Engage in an intensive exploration of the fundamental concepts related to a wide range of fragrance product types, scents for : skin, room, men, women, children, seasonal and industrial products.Discover how to compose a fragrance and the industry standard rules and methodologies. Learn about olfaction (the sense of smell) and study the importance of olfactory tenacity and intensity by practicing the basics of the olfactive pyramid: the top, middle, and base notes. Based on these skills, on your creativity, and on your personal taste, write your own perfume formula. Compose your perfume and evaluate it with your instructor, who will guide you through your three trials for each session. The first class will be dedicated to the creation of a perfume using the simple facets. The second class will focus on how to create a modern twist of historical and complex accords (using the simple facets from the first class). You will learn,<div><ul><li>Explanation of a perfume's composition, from raw materials to creation;&nbsp;</li><li>Mastering the notions of top - middle - base;&nbsp;</li><li>Presentation of each olfactory facet in a perfume;&nbsp;</li><li>Composing a perfume formula based on facets;&nbsp;</li><li>Producing the composition; and Evaluation of your creation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul>To join in person, choose the 'Pratt Manhattan' session, the shared material fee ($70) is included in the tuition.
