Residential Conversion Of Loft Spaces
For architects or engineers currently planning a conversion project or who would like to supplement and enhance their range of knowledge and generate possible new sources of revenue, this course will enrich the professional's tools by developing the knowledge required to understand and plan the conversion of commercial and manufacturing buildings to legal residential use. Issues involving the NYC Building J Code, the NYS Multiple Dwelling Law, the NYC Zoning Resolution, and the NYC Housing Maintenance Code will be investigated. The review process by the NYC Buildings Department and the NYC Loft Board will be explored.
