How do artists fuel their creativity? How do they decide what to work on? How do they approach their time in the studio? How does this inform the pieces they create? Are there patterns or is it more varied and individual? Can these ideas be applied to our own creative work? We'll explore words and works by a wide range of artists spanning The Renaissance to the present day. The course will consist of guided class discussions based on readings, virtual gallery/museum visits and artist interviews.
