As healthcare providers continue to serve an increasingly diverse community, effective communication and cultural understanding are essential to delivering quality patient care.</font></i></p><font face="Tahoma"><b><font size="5"><br>Build Language and Cultural Understanding</font></b><br></font><div><font face="Tahoma" size="4"><b><i><br></i></b></font><p><font face="Tahoma" size="4">Designed specifically for healthcare professionals, this beginner-level course provides an introduction to Burmese language, culture, and communication practices commonly encountered in healthcare settings. She is the recipient of the Indiana Council for Continuing Education's 2016 Course of the Year Award for her acclaimed course, Burmese for the Health Care Professional.
