Summer Edible Plants

Class will take place outside on NYBG grounds. Registered students will be sent information regarding meeting location.
Take a guided summer ramble with wild foods author and forager Marie Viljoen who will teach you how to identify and use the edible plants that surround us in plain sight, such as Beebalm, Sumac, Spicebush, Cornelian Cherries, and Aronia. See how these plants grow in the Garden as we discuss cultivation, conservation, and sustainable methods of foraging. Outside only; rain or shine.
