Spring Edible Plants


Class will take place outside on NYBG grounds and follow current safety procedures. Registered students will be sent information regarding meeting location and log-in information.
Accompany wild foods author and forager Marie Viljoen on a mid-spring stroll through the Garden to identify a host of edible flowers and plants and discover their culinary and mixology potential.We'll cover how to forage sustainably using ramps as a case study, as well as how to grow vulnerable native edibles at home. Outside only; rain or shine.
