This is a review course for nurse practitioners planning to return to practice. Students will have the opportunity to review physical assessment findings related to patient care management strategies that includes review of medications, case scenarios, disease entities (Signs & Symptoms) and treatments. In addition, normal lab values and what to do when abnormal findings are discovered as well as scope of practice, legal issues, and basic information for certification with 16 contact hours.
