This 3 hour course will discuss several different aspects of Home Inspection in a unique and engaging format designed to maximize student participation and class discussions, both of which lead to increased learning and better student focus. Topics to be included are the basis for Modules 1 through 4: Structure, Exterior, Roofing, Electrical, Insulation, Ventilation, Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, License Law, Report Writing and Overview of the Profession. Students are encouraged to participate in groups responding to questions on the above topics. This type of format fosters quick thinking and public speaking, both of which are essential attributes of successful home inspectors. 3 CEUs
