Biography: Catherine Swanson is a LCSW currently employed at Nassau County Office of Housing/Department of Social Services as the Deputy Director of Emergency Housing.Worked in the Foster Care System, training parents, families and community providers. Years of experience as a Psychiatric Social Worker from intake to discharge, including crisis intervention and community resources for patients and families.

Training In The Identification & Reporting of Child Abuse & Neglect

The course is part of the state requirements some health and school professionals must meet for state licensure, re-registration and certification. This course covers the new requirements to complete updated child abuse identification and reporting training by April 1, 2025. Open to non-Molloy students as well.
