DESCRIPTION:Event Description:\n\nGWO Basic Safety Training\n\nThis course is taught in cooperation with Relyon Nutec under their GWO approval and is delivered in Blended Learning Format.  This course consists of five modules: Working at Heights, First Aid, Sea Survival, Manual Handling, and Fire Awareness.  PARTICIPANTS MUST COMPLETE BLENDED LEARNING NO LATER THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL ON CAMPUS.  Students will be weighed and must be 275lbs or less in order to not exceed the rating of fall protection equipment.  PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR LONG PANTS, SAFETY SHOES, AND BRING WORK GLOVES AND SAFETY GLASSES.
