Course Detail: CEW-6500 - Foodie Friday- A Culinary Trip to St. Louis

Join us for a Foodie Day Trip to St. Louis. Our trip will start with breakfast snacks and coffee on our deluxe motorcoach. First stop at Penzeys Spices and VOM FASS. Spices are essential in cooking because they enhance flavor, transforming ordinary meals into extraordinary culinary delights. VOM FASS is a specialty retailer offering high-quality oils, vinegars, spirits, and wines, often sold directly from barrels or casks with an emphasis on sampling, sustainability, and artisanal products. 

Lunch will be a leisurely one at SqWires Restaurant & Market. SqWires offers a modern American dining experience in a charming historic setting in Lafayette Square. Housed in a restored 19th-century factory, it combines original architectural elements with modern decor. Known for its seasonal, locally sourced menu. 

Next on to Trader Joes. On previous trips our riders have filled multiple bags with wine and popular Trader Joes specialty items. Our final stop will be at Kitchen Conservatory, the premier kitchen store in St. Louis. For over 35 years Kitchen Conservatory has offered the finest tools for the kitchen. We will enjoy a glass of wine and cheese while there. Then back on the bus for our relaxing return to Springfield.

Information

Price includes motorcoach, snacks, lunch, wine and cheese tasing. This trip includes walking. Participants may bring a small cooler and shopping bag. Please make sure both are labeled with your name. The bus leaves LLCC-Springfield promptly at 8 a.m.
