Course detail: RAIDER Training - 5 Day Instructor
Course Description:
This is a FREE five day training limited to two officers per agency.

The RAIDER Training program exposes first-on-scene responders to the tactical skills necessary to operate successfully in the unique tensions of an active shooter setting - a hostile environment, populated by large numbers of civilians, with an Active Killer attempting to achieve the highest body count possible in the shortest amount of time. This is not a normal event, nor is the response.
Core Competency:
- Participants will be able to decide upon prescribed courses of action or techniques that will provide a greater level of safety in a variety of environments, events and situations.
Course Objectives:
Participants will develop their skills in:
- Basics of SOLO engagement
- Physical movements and drills
- Use of angles and infrastructure
- Use of movement and aggressive actions
- Limited combatives/crowd movement
- Force on force drills
- Tactics and shooting drills
- Live fire link up exercise, first aid drills and recovery drills
- Live fire drills and exercises
- Instructing basic drills
- Instructional Methods:
- Lecture
- Practicals: This training is physically and mentally demanding
Who Should Attend:
- Law Enforcement Only
Course Requirements:
- You will be evaluated on understanding, demonstration and instructional abilities throughout the week.
- You will be monitored, mentored and tested by trainers throughout the week.
- You will design, brief, instruct and debrief your own live fire and force on force scenario.
