Course detail: Developing Women Leaders

Course Description:

Evidence-Based Insight and Solutions for Recruiting, Retaining and Developing Women Leaders

Women are underrepresented in law enforcement and particularly in leadership positions. Of course, there are external factors that play a role in this. Still, the core of this presentation will examine the unconscious actions and beliefs that can hinder women's development and success in our chosen profession. We will explore how imposter syndrome stifles women's careers and how to overcome the feeling that they're not quite ready for that promotion or project. Learn how to overcome the daily battle with the inner critic that reinforces insecurities and how speech and body language can dictate how women are perceived.
