Course: Grant Development and Management Professional Course

The online course introduces students to the grant development process and provides an overview of what happens after a grant is awarded. At the end of the course, students will have completed a fundable proposal. Learners will receive eight weeks of intensive instruction by Dr. Elaine Johannes, Professor in Community Health & Extension Specialist and will have the opportunity of earning a microcredential and digital badge. Kansas State University will award 45 continuing education hours for successful completion of course requirements to those participants who paid the optional fee.

Continuing education hours are not awarded for academic credit. Continuing education requirements vary from state to state and by profession. It is the responsibility of individuals earning K-State continuing education hours to verify with their licensing or accrediting body that the hours will be accepted. Kansas State University is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Prior to enrolling in the course, students are required to register for a K-State eID at https://www.k-state.edu/it/eid/.  During the registration process, you will be required to enter your eID. Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for accessing your course.

Refund/Cancellation Policy:

If you must cancel your registration, please do so by 01/18/25 to receive a refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee. To cancel your registration, please send a written request to registration@k-state.edu with the program name in the subject line. Registered participants who do not cancel their registration by the refund deadline are responsible for registration fees even if they do not participate.

Kansas State University may cancel or postpone this program because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the program is canceled, registration fees will be refunded. Fees will not be refunded if the program is held but the registrant is unable to participate and has not requested a refund by the cancellation deadline.
