Event: IGP-KSU Flour Milling for State Wheat Commissioners and Staff



Course Description:

Participants will receive training in the basic principles of flour milling and greater understanding of the relationship between wheat quality and flour performance. These objectives will be met through classroom lectures and hands-on practical training in the milling laboratories at Kansas State University including the state-of-the-art Hal Ross Flour Mill with the modern Kice and Buhler milling equipment.

Course Outline and Content:

Each day will include morning lectures at the IGP Conference Center with laboratory time in the afternoon at either the Hal Ross Flour Mill or the Shellenberger Hall labs. Class will begin at 8:30 each morning and adjourn around 5:00.

Refund Policy

Upon request, refunds for withdrawal made prior to November 4, 2018 will be fully refunded, minus a $100 processing fee. Participants also have the option to roll registration to another course if used within one calendar year from the start of the course. Registrations can be transferred to other individuals upon approval. Requests made fourteen days or less before a course start date will not be refunded.

Cancellation Policy

The IGP Institute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses if minimum enrollment numbers are not met. If a course is canceled, participants will be refunded 100% of their tuition. If a course is rescheduled, participants will have the opportunity to have 100% of their registration fees applied to the rescheduled course, or receive a full refund.

Publicity Statement

Registration for this event gives consent for photographs, publicity and inclusion on the participant list unless K-State Global Campus is notified in writing prior to the start date.
