Course Detail: LLC.1067 - Becoming Conversational in Sign Language: Part B

Have you been wanting to be a more inclusive bridge builder into the Deaf community? This course is a four-part series designed to help you develop the skills needed to become literate in the basics of functional sign language. Each part of the series can be started independently or taken out of order, allowing you to learn at your own pace. You will acquire strategies for overcoming communication breakdowns as you continue learning sign language with your Deaf and hard of hearing friends and family members. Basic vocabulary units are paired with opportunities to practice full sentences through engaging review activities and games. This class is ideal for both newcomers and those looking to refresh their signing knowledge. T1 section is for ages 15 and up. Children ages 8-14 are welcome to register for the TD1 section at a discounted rate if a paying adult registers for the T1 class.
