Course Detail: ELC.103 - Electrical Principles and Practices

Delve deeper into the theories of why an industrial circuit works. Through hands-on exercises, learn how to check a threephase fuse box; predict and test voltage on a Wye or Delta system; program basic parameters on a variable frequency drive; as well as predict, build and test a basic motor control and power circuit. Math and theory of Ohm's law, Power's law and series and parallel circuit are covered. This class is ideal for maintenance personnel in need of cross training. Cost includes textbook.
