Course Detail: ELC.101 - Basic Electrical Circuits

Practice building and testing the most common electrical circuits used in residential and industrial applications. Theory and math are kept to a minimum, with emphasis placed on electrical safety, component usage and the identification of circuit problems. This course was designed to provide maintenance personnel an understanding of standard residential and industrial circuits, allowing them to fix electrical problems safely and quickly. You'll learn how to safely work around electrical circuits, take standard measurements when testing an electrical circuit and troubleshoot a problem with an electrical circuit. Cost includes textbook.
